Il Cloro writes an album on stone, the "Sponga" stone: lithoid travertine of which your house is probably made if you live in Central Italy. Porous and crumbly, their songs seem to crumble with each rhythmic change, but while you listen to them they gain that compactness that transforms a short Balinese no-wave album into a place where you can rediscover your spiritual coordinates, reunite with your affections and wear comfortable slippers.

Il cloro scrive un album sulla pietra, la pietra sponga appunto: travertino litoide di cui è fatta probabilmente casa vostra se vivete in Centro Italia. Porosi e friabili, i loro brani sembrano doversi sgretolare a ogni cambio ritmico, ma inverosimilmente all’ascolto guadagnano quella compattezza che trasforma un breve album di no-wave-balinese in un luogo dove ritrovare le proprie coordinate spirituali, ricongiungersi con i propri affetti e indossare comode pantofole.
